Care Instructions for Your New Towels
Testing the Quality of Your Towels
If this is your first purchase, we recommend testing the towel quality before full use:
- Take 1-2 towels from one dozen.
- Wash and use them to make sure you’re happy with the quality.
How to Care for Cotton Towels
To keep your cotton towels soft, fluffy, and absorbent, follow these simple tips:
Before First Use:
- Wash and dry your towels 2-3 times to fluff them up, as they may be compressed during shipping.
- Use cold water for the first washes to remove any excess dyes.
- Add a tablespoon of vinegar during the first wash to help set the colors.
Washing Tips:
- Wash towels in cold water to prevent shrinkage and fading.
- Wash towels separately to keep their colors bright and prevent dye transfer.
Using Bleach:
- Some of our towels are bleach-safe or resistant to bleach solutions.
- If you’re unsure about bleach compatibility, please contact us, and we’ll be happy to help.
How to Care for Microfiber Towels
Microfiber towels need a little extra care to keep them working their best:
Washing:
- Use warm water and a gentle liquid detergent.
-
Avoid fabric softener—it reduces the towel’s absorbency.
- Don’t wash microfiber towels with cotton items to avoid lint getting stuck in the fibers.
Drying:
- Tumble dry on low heat.
- Skip the dryer sheets, as they can also affect absorbency.
Following these care tips will help keep your towels in great condition, so you can enjoy them for a long time!
